Best Build Sayu Genshin Impact - Sayu is the newest 4-star character for patch 2.0. Her first debut was accompanied by Yoimiya. She is the first Anemo-element character with a claymore weapon for Genshin Impact. What is the right way to use Sayu?

Sayu Genshin Impact

Sayu has a unique Elemental Skill, which no other character in Genshin Impact has. She is able to roll quickly for a long duration without draining stamina. While rolling, Sayu can absorb an element, if she is hit by the element. She will also swirl for enemies she approaches.

This unique skill is good for exploration. But for combat, this skill is not so useful. Sayu is still inferior for swirl matters, when compared to Sucrose. The thing that can still be considered when she rolls, is that she can heal party mates through her passive talents.

For Elemental Burst, Sayu can heal a party exactly the same as Jean's Elemental Burst. Sayu will heal a party directly when Elemental Burst is first activated, then heal more characters around Daruma, with a wider area than Jean.

Regarding the healing ability, it can be said that Sayu is Jean but a 4-star. It is also positive actually, because not all players have Jean. But the difference is, Jean heals based on his Attack, while Sayu heals based on her Attack and Elemental Mastery.

As an Anemo elemental character, she also has access to one of the best artifacts in Genshin Impact, the Viridescent Venerer. In addition, she is able to function as an Anemo battery.

Sayu's Best Artifact Recommendations

As an Anemo character, let alone a support character, his best artifact is definitely 4 Viridiscent Venerer. The artifact is able to reduce enemy resistance and increase swirl damage.

However, there are certain situations when s4 Viridescent Venerer is not very useful, for example for Xiao team, Geo team or physical team. Therefore, the right artifact for that situation is 4 Noblesse Oblige.If you need more heal, then 4 Maiden Beloved can be an option.

If you don't have the artifacts mentioned above or perhaps don't have the desired main stat, then you can use an alternative artifact, which is between 2 Wanderer's Troupe, 2 Emblem of Severed Fate, 2 Gladiator's Finale, 2 Shimenawa's Reminiscence, or 2 Maiden Beloved.

As for the main stat, it really depends on how you want to play Sayu and what constellations she has. Sayu needs a balance between Elemental Mastery, Energy Recharge and ATK%. Because of her Elemental Burst that requires 80 energy, Sayu needs around 180 Energy Recharge or more.

Main stat: ATK% or Elemental Mastery?

Since Sayu's healing is calculated based on ATK% and Elemental Mastery, the main stat selection on the artifacts you have can vary.

In simple terms, if you want more heal, then it's better to use ATK%. But with that, the damage swirl generated is definitely not big. And vice versa, if you want more swirl damage, then Elemental Mastery is the answer, with the consequence that the heal received is not as big as through ATK%.

There is also a third option, which is to play the Healing Bonus stat on Circlet of Logos to get more heal. Using Healing Bonus definitely reduces the damage Daruma does and his swirl damage. As a healer, Anemo Damage Bonus is not recommended.

In addition, because the energy required by Sayu's Elemental Burst is large, it is necessary to consider the main stat Energy Recharge (ER). If Sayu's ER is lacking, either from weapons or sub stats, then you can use the main stat Energy Recharge on Sands of Eon.

Sayu can actually use almost any claymore in Genshin Impact, except for weapons with HP%, Def% and Physical Damage Bonus substats, as those substats are useless to Sayu.

Just like artifacts, the weapons that Sayu uses are determined to balance the stats she has. The weapon categories will be divided into three categories, namely:

Wolf's Gravestone is the best weapon if you need to increase your Attack stat, as it provides the most Attack stat compared to other weapons. For other options, you can use Prototype Archaic or Lithic Blade.

But please note, to get the passive effect of Favonius Greatsword, Sayu needs a sufficient crit rate. 3. Weapons with Elemental Mastery

Surprisingly, for now the claymore that gives the most Elemental Mastery stat is the Bloodtainted Greatsword, a 3-star claymore. However, if you have a Rainslasher, you can use that weapon, because the Rainslasher has a bigger base Attack.

Sayu's Team Composition

As a healer, Sayu can be used in various team compositions. Sayu can be used on teams that require elemental reactions or not.

Sayunado is a team composition that relies on the swirl reaction produced by Sayu's Elemental Skill and Xiangling's Pyronado. To deal additional damage, Kaeya and Bennet can be added to this team.

To play this team, first take out Bennet, Xiangling and Kaeya's Elemental Burst. After that, hold Sayu's Elemental Skill and hit all enemies until Pyronado's duration runs out. For this team composition, it is recommended to have as much Elemental Mastery as possible, both from artifacts, weapons, and EM from ascencion.

The following are some tips and tricks that you might be able to use:

• To roll continuously, you don't need to press the skill button until the duration runs out. You only need to press it for a few moments, then you can release it. After that you are free to determine where Sayu rolls.
• For Sayu's passive talent that makes it easy to catch animals like Crystalfly, the talent is only active for the first Crystalfly. After that, if you pick up a Crystalfly, the Crystalfly around you will fly away.
• Sayu can produce energy particles continuously, if she can hit her Elemental Skill on the enemy until the duration runs out.
• To get maximum energy particles, you can hold Sayu's Elemental Skill for a while, then release it. This trick will produce more energy than just pressing Elemental Skill.
